Sherri’s Review of “Eros on the Half Shell” by Michael Fancello

Michael Fancello, and I have been longtime friends. It began in l999 when he called me from his residence in France about his first book “Canopy” and helping to publicize his book in the United States.

What I was finding out about Michael was that he not only was a wonderful human being to work with, but was becoming a good friend. We worked on the book for quite a long time and I have worked with Michael on other projects and the friendship has flourished and continues to do so. To give you an example, sometimes I turn to Michael for advice on a man that I am dating, and he gives me feedback that is full of grace, love and honesty. Always making me feel like a Goddess in appreciation of what he sees in me and what he feels I deserve.

I remember the idea about this new book “Eros on the Half Shell” came up many years ago. I was really excited about it and encouraged him to do it, especially when he told me it was about some of his experiences with women. Sometimes he would email the translations of what he had written and I would always want to see more and more getting really excited about it. We would talk off and on about when it would come out. There were many problems, but Michael never gave up and always managed to move through the challenges.

Michael and I have shared many experiences together of eating out in NYC and Europe. He and I both appreciate good food and its sensuality and aliveness. I have known for many years that Michael equates fine food and good women in the same breath. So it seemed natural to me to suggest that with each story he create a recipe that would fit the woman, and he has done it in “Eros on the Half Shell.”

Michael treats women and food with the deepest of respect while totally appreciating and savoring the sensuality, fullness and taste of good food and a good woman. Secretly I wanted Michael to visit some of the American men I had been with so he could give them lessons on how to deliciously treat and cook for us.

Michael’s sensuality, charm, aliveness, curiosity and adventure come through as we read about his journey of women and food. He definitely treats you like the Goddess you were meant to be. Have fun reading this book. It’s a breath of fresh air.

Thank you for any other informative website. Where else may I get that kind of information written in such an ideal manner? I have a mission that I’m just now running on, and I’ve been at the look out for such info. Executive Elite, 18a Greycoat Gardens, Greycoat Street, London, SW1P 2QA, 028 2088 0135
