Our Country Is Quickly Falling Apart
I don’t know much about politics because for me, most of the time, it’s a load of crap, but what’s happening now is hitting me and hitting me hard. I have never felt so compelled to write an article like this. I have always looked at the bright side of things, but there is no bright side to this. And please don’t start comparing us to other countries who are worse off than we are. I cannot hear that now. And don’t start giving me statistics. Not now. I want to change our country and make it better.
As a friend of mine put it so succinctly to me, we are like a nation of addicts being fed our addiction until the money runs out. We keep printing more and more money, bailing out the banks, stock market, keeping the rich supplied, outsourcing, wanting to get rid of Social Security, having a terrible healthcare system, creating more and more wars, having our infrastructure fall apart, and “they tell us” the economy is getting better.
I don’t know what the answer to this is but I do know within at least 2 years or sooner this country will be in a state of complete collapse. The old systems aren’t working anymore and no one seems to have the balls to say “we are falling apart” and we have to do something to change it. Do we have to wait until it’s too late?
