Barbara Chepaitis was referred to me through a women’s writing organization in New York City, The International Women’s Writing Guild. She has had quite a few books published but had never worked with a publicist. We discussed her needs with the first book I worked on These Dreams, and she and I decided to book her on local radio and television in her area of upstate New York, and it turned out very successful. With Feeding Christine we decided to book her in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, also including food programs, and I managed to obtain an interview for her, right before Christmas, on a food show on National Public Radio. She was again very pleased and it was a delight working with her. — Sherri Rosen Publicity, NYC

“I not only got national radio coverage for my books, I also learned more than I ever knew about the world of publicity. Sherri Rosen Publicity, NYC has been imaginative, flexible, easy to work with, and full of energy in their approach. They will give you more than you bargained for.”

    September 17, 2024

Sherri Rosen: Stephanie, what was your inspiration for the story? Stephanie Woodman: In 1996, I had the profound experience of scuba diving in Truk Lagoon—now called Chuuk, in Micronesia. It was a significant Japanese naval base during WWII, often referred to as Japan’s Pearl Harbor. I was initially unaware of its historical weight, but on my first […]
