Wisdom Man is about an Aboriginal Elder, Banjo Clarke. The author and he were friends for 30 years and Camilla Chance taped him over those 30 years and then wrote the book as a tribute to him and the life he led, giving inspiration and hope to others in the face of many desperate times and much racism against him and his people. The book has won a Humanitarian Award in Australia. Camilla Chance is the first non-Aboriginal to win a prestigious Aboriginal Award and her book has won an award here in the USA from USABookNews.com

“I would describe Sherri’s and my professional ‘relationship’ as being something far deeper at core. A unity of spirit has been there since she first saw Banjo’s and my book Wisdom Man , and offered me her services from the heart — a unity which has manifested physically in many kinds of exciting directions.”
