Why do I have bright red hair?
It did not happen overnight.
statement. It not only captures my heart being vibrant passionate and
loving, but expresses what I’m about: being strong, bold, and direct.
This clarity and vivacity is not only a personal undertaking, it’s
central to the whole expedition of Sherri Rosen Publicity—to get the
word out in a loud, clean, and unforgettable way. My clients deserve
nothing less.In the same way my red hair stands out in a crowd, I hope to make the
artists and writers and creative thinkers who I work for have a voice
in the public sphere. I strive to make their good work stand out. Like
red hair—exuberant, glaring, eye-catching—this is what good publicity
should be. It should be a flashing red light that shouts: “Stop! Check
this out! This (book, movie, project) is unique and valuable!”
To have bright red hair you have to think outside the box. And this
corresponds to what goes into creating good publicity. To be heard and
understood you need to be a maverick, a non-conformist, a rebel in
your own way. To get your message out, it needs to be expressed in a
lively, memorable, and powerful way.
Thus, the red hair. When I work on my clients’ behalf, I work to make
them stand out in a crowd. Many years ago, I didn’t know my voice, my
place, my vocation. But now I live and breathe it. My red hair is like
a beacon. If you have lost your way, if you cannot see in a crowd of
people, you will always find me because of my glowing, vermillion
hair.
If you want yourself to be known for the good work you do, you know
that I understand, I get it, and I can create the buzz that you
need—no matter what your project may be. My vision for publicity is
panoramic and comprehensive. I will strive to take your project to
places you never dreamed of, to breathe new life into the red, hot
coals of your work. Like red, idiosyncratic hair, I want to bring
attention to what you are doing.
It will be colorful. It will be unorthodox and offbeat. But it will be eye-catching and indelible publicity.
