I Am A Woman by Sherri Rosen

One morning I awoke at 3am with these words running through me. So I found myself getting out of my
bed and walking over to the computer and here is what came through:

I Am A Woman!

I am a woman who feels great joy

i am a woman who feels great sorrow

i am a woman who can sit with my sister & brother and listen

i am a woman who can honor myself

i am a woman who can respect herself

i am a woman that is willing to say I’m sorry

I am a woman that wants great joy for my sisters and brothers

I am a woman who leaps in and out of life willing to take risks

I am a woman who loves deeply and who is at home everywhere

I am a woman who walks in beauty

I am a woman who takes the hand of a child until it’s no longer needed

I am a woman who laughs and cries at the same time

I am a woman who respects her fellow man

I am a woman who abhors ignorance

I am a woman who walks gently in the night

I am a woman who honors my ancestors

I am a woman who has great courage when no one else does

I am a woman who speaks her truth

I am a woman who walks in beauty

I am a woman who deals with pain, hers, and her loved ones

I am a woman who is a teacher, a giver, a lover, a performer, a truth teller

I am a woman who is not afraid to walk alone

I am a woman who will take your hand when no one else will

I am a woman that will sit with you to listen to your pain

I am a woman that knows passion and isn’t afraid of it!

I am a woman that gathers the sheep and leads them in the right direction

I am a woman who is never afraid to wait

I am a woman who is sometimes frightened but always alive

I am a woman who loves to laugh

I am a woman who loves to sing

I am a woman who loves to dance

I am a woman who has been created through many wounded pieces

I am a woman who can be held and supported

I am a woman who loves to love

I am a woman !
