Do You Have A Hero?

Bill_Moyers_Journal___Watch___Listen___PBSI do and I will share with you who, but I also want to hear from you if you have one. Mine is and has been for a long time, Bill Moyers. I love this man. He has taken the road less traveled with his journalism because he is a man with integrity. I experience it in his writing, his work with Joseph Campbell, his program Bill Moyers’ Journal and his recent interview on Bill Maher. He gives me the feeling that I
can trust him. That he is telling me the truth. There aren’t too many people I feel that way about in journalism or in life. When I hear Mr. Moyers speak it makes me want to be a better person and to do good things in the world. So I want to hear from you. Do you have a hero? Tell me about your hero.

    Good morning, Sherri!!

I love Bill Moyers too, a real mensch if you ask me. But there are others too, the truth-tellers, like Michael Moore and Amy Goodman. I think there are a lot of different voices out there with a similar message, hopefully everybody can tune into at least one of them. May all beings enjoy happiness. suzitiger

    Hi Sherri —

My male hero would be Bill Moyers also — almost never miss his show! His integrity is so refreshing and the guests he interviews are always so interesting and insightful. I still have the videotape I made from his interview with Joseph Campbell — so long ago!

My female hero would be Zainab Salbi, founder and president of Women for Women International — an amazingly wonderful organization that supports women suffering from the effects of war in countries all over the world. One of my wishes is that someday I can be a “sponsoring sister” to one of these women. Nancy
