Open Letter to Mayor Cory Booker
If elected to the Senate. What would you do about what is happening?
Redhead’s Rap-I was hoping Obama would be a different kind of president his 2nd term around, but I realize he is allowing the rich to continuously take over this country and has completely obliterated the middle class. The only difference is Obama is brilliant and Bush was stupid. Easier to deal with stupidity sometimes that someone who is an orator and so brilliant. But I know there are people out there that are working to bring back the middle class.
The obliteration of the middle class has been done in such a subtle way and people still wondering why they either don’t have jobs, paying too many taxes, paying higher taxes, unions are being stripped away and labor being ignored, all of the rights and programs that we had fought for are being taken away, and meanwhile the rich keep getting richer and controlling this country.
I don’t have a solution except I am aware of what is happening and I hope you are too. Again, I know there are people that are woking to change this around and not to continuously allow the rich to hold us hostage. We are in a very repressive time in the history of our country. When was the last time you saw or heard coverage of a demonstration against the rich? When was the last time you heard that the poor are being helped? Again, all the programs that assist them are being stripped away.
Don’t give up! Be aware of what’s going on and speak about it to others. We eventually can change the repressive nature of this country and help to kick out the rich from making our country into a hostage situation.
