I’ve noticed big changes in the authors that reachout to me to possibly work together in book publicity.
It used to be fun to speak to them, but now I see a pattern that is happening, and it’s the state of our country and our world is very scary, but many people, including authors,, have allowed their joy to be taken away.
It used to be fun to speak to them, but now I hear voices that are filled with fear, anxiety, aggression and distrust. I’ve never had that in the past, but what I do tell some of the authors now is please don’t publish your book or do book publicity until you bring back your joy, and it’s possible to do it during any hard times we go through. That’s the challenge we all have now. Don’t Allow Anyone To Take Your Joy Away”
Your book is your baby, and please publish it when you truly understand that no one is allowed to take your joy away. Many will try but it’s up to all of us to have the courage to keep our joy!
