No More Pink! I Just Want A Cure For Cancer Now! by Sherri Rosen
As you all know it’s Cancer Awareness Month. Wearing pink clothes, wearing pink bows, pink sneakers, having marathons to rasie money
for Cancer Cures.
I’m tired of the color pink. I’m tired of Cancer Awareness Month. I want a cure now. There is no reason not to have a cure now for Cancer.
I don’t want to see anymore people suffer from this terrible disease. I’ve seen too many suffer, die and continue to suffer from Cancer.
This country, with all of its money, smart doctors, and you tell me why we haven’t found a cure for Cancer yet. Doesn’t make sensse.
I have come to dislike intensely the color pink. I have come to dislike intensely these marathons to raise money for Cancer. Why?
Because a country like ours, has got the means and no how to find a Cancer cure NOW.
Why are we not up in arms that we have not found a cure yet? We seem to have become complacent wearing our pink everything, running
in our Marathons, but we don’t seem to yell and scream for the cure now. We seem like it’s business as usual. I’ll do my part, I’ll donate, I’ll wear
pink, I’ll run in a Marathon, then I will feel I have done something. But what have we done?
For years we’ve had these huge fundraisers, marathons, wearing pink, and it has become like rote that we do all of this in the name of Cancer,
but not realizing that a country like this could have found a cure years ago. Our priorities are really messed up in this country between a Cancer Cure,
stopping gun violence and not wanting to continue to take care of our 9/ll first responders. Have we gone totally asleep?
We need to take care of our own and take care of them now. Write to your local Congressperson and tell them you can no longer accept
this Cancer Awareness Month without there being a cure NOW!!! Right NOW!!!
Where are our priorities?

I am so glad to see another bloeggr participating in the Breast Cancer Awareness month! :)Besides going pink, I will also try to create and spread the awareness on breast cancer throughout the month.
